Industrial Vibration Control, Inc. will come to your plant with the experience and technology to accurately align shafts within specifications based on the RPM of the system. We accomodate spans up to twelve feet and have special tools to deal with such situations as shafts that cannot be turned and excessivelly high coupling clearance.

Special Considerations For This Service

Jack bolts must be installed on unit to be moved

Plant personnel must assist with machine moves on uits 50 HP and above

$$$ Something To Consider $$$
Do not be lulled into a sense of complacency by believing that a "flexible" coupling will compensate any shaft misalignment. The flexibility of a coupling is made to handle the torque at startup, not shaft misalignment. The fact is, that while a coupling may withstand several thousanths of an inch of misalignment, the bearings and seals will not. Shafts should be aligned to the offset and angular tolerances listed below for optimal performance.
